The following presentation formats can be submitted:
Symposium
Organized symposia include four to five research presentations as well as a final discussion on a common topic. The composition of the speakers as well as the time allocation of the presentations will be organized by a moderator, who will also be responsible for the submission of the symposium. A total of 90 minutes will be available for each symposium.
Indivudual presentations
Individual presentations include the presentation of a research paper (completed or ongoing research). When submitting an individual presentation, please indicate whether you prefer an oral presentation or a poster presentation. There is a maximum of 20 minutes for oral presentations (15 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion). Accepted individual presentations will be sorted into thematically coherent sessions by the organizing committee.
Innovative formats
Examples of innovative formats include "roundtable" discussions on specific research topics or workshops on research-related topics (e.g., Open Science in Forensic Psychology). Sessions with innovative formats will be organized by the submitting person. A maximum of 90 minutes time for each format will be available. If you have any queries about the feasibility of specific innovative formats, please contact email the organizing team.
Information about presentation formats online vs. on-site
Because we are currently planning an online or an on-site conference, we kindly ask you for some flexibility regarding the presentation formats. Symposia and innovative formats will be held regardless of the conference form. It is possible, however, that we we will introduce new formats for individual presentations if the conference will be online (e.g. short presentations in order to avoid long days of parallel online sessions). You will receive the final information about the presentation format of your contribution together with the feedback about your acceptance until June 15th, 2021.
